EMM Plants Show Strong Sentiment to Stand Firm on Quotes, Manganese Market Remains in a Stalemate [SMM EMM Daily Review]

The average spot price in the main production areas of EMM was 13,350-13,550 yuan/mt, flat MoM. The average FOB price was $1,870-1,900/mt, flat MoM. Supply side, EMM plants showed a strong sentiment to stand firm on quotes, with a weak willingness to sell at low prices, making low-priced spot cargoes hard to find. Demand side, downstream buyers mostly awaited the progress of steel tenders, showing weak enthusiasm for purchasing high-priced EMM. The tug-of-war between sellers and buyers continued, keeping the EMM market in a stalemate.
